Camping will be available both for Packs that wish to camp Family style and for Webelos Dens spending the night on Saturday evening.
PACKS:
Please contact Carl Wust or Paula Evans, NOT the Council Office. The Council Office will refuse individual unit camping requests. As you are camping with a District event, the District has made the campsite reservations and will assign them to units on request. We have limited sites and ask that Packs share a site as required to fit the needs of the District.
WEBELOS DENS:
For the Naked Eye Astronomy event, we recommend bringing a pair of binoculars.
INFORMATION FOR ALL THOSE ATTENDING
Our theme is Westward Ho. Each DEN or PACK (your option on a unit basis) should make and bring a COVERED WAGON. This can be from a red wagon decorated to look like a covered wagon or can be built from scratch. This would make an excellent den activity. You will use your wagon throughout the day and should pull it around the events with you. It should display your Den name and Pack number. And of course, there are always prizes.
Each Scout should have a three (3) foot piece of rope. These will be used in events. Quarter inch nylon is great for this purpose. You should keep your ropes in your wagon.
EVENTS WILL INCLUDE
- Wagons
- Map and Compass – Darby’s Rangers
- Scavenger Hunt

- Tomahawk Throw
